Delete your account or data

English: Ahorn Software Solutions operates the ahorn.app apps. You can request deletion of your account and/or stored data for any app at any time. This page explains how.

1. General deletion process
There are two ways to request deletion:
- In-app deletion (preferred, where available) — open the app, go to Settings → Delete account. Some apps already offer this; others are still email-only. The per-app sections below list which method is currently available.
- Email request — send an email to info@ahorn.app with:

- Optional: whether you want your data deleted from one specific app only, or from all Ahorn apps at once (i.e. removing your shared login as well)

We respond with a confirmation and complete the deletion within 30 days of your request.
We strongly recommend exporting your data first if you might want to keep a copy. Most apps offer Settings → Export which returns machine-readable JSON. After deletion we cannot recover your data.

2. What gets deleted & what is kept
What we delete on request:
- Your shared-login account record — your email, password hash (if you used email+password), Google account identifier (if linked), and per-app access metadata.
- All user-created content stored by each app — the per-app section below lists what that covers for each app.
- All session credentials that kept you logged in.
Multi-auth consequence: if your account had both email+password AND Google Sign-In linked (by matching email), deleting the account removes both login paths at once. There is no "keep Google login, drop password" partial deletion.
What is kept, and why:
- Payment transaction records — if you made any paid purchase (via Ko-fi, Tikkie, Google Play, or as a free comp from the operator), we retain the bookkeeping entry (channel, external transaction reference, amount, currency, date, and the contact email where the provider forwarded one) for 7 years. This is a Dutch legal retention requirement for accounting records (Art. 52 Algemene Wet inzake Rijksbelastingen / AWR). No app content is retained — just the bookkeeping line.
- Payment-provider notifications — bounded retention, used for reconciliation and abuse investigation. Generally rotated within 90 days unless legally required.
- Backup snapshots — daily backups are kept for a short rolling window. Any deleted row is therefore fully gone from backups within 30 days of deletion at the latest.
- Anonymised aggregate statistics — if aggregate usage stats exist (they currently don't for most apps), they contain no personally-identifying information and are kept.
Partial data deletion without account loss:
- Individual content items can be deleted inside each app (e.g. Jubilee's
×button next to each date, My Media "remove from watchlist", etc.). - Settings can be reset to defaults via Settings → Reset where available.
- These are self-service — no email needed.
Nederlands: We verwijderen: je gedeelde-login account (e-mail, wachtwoord-hash, Google-ID, per-app toegangsmetadata), je content per app, en sessie-gegevens. Gevolg van multi-auth: als je zowel e-mail+wachtwoord als Google Sign-In gebruikte, verdwijnen ze allebei tegelijk. We bewaren: betaaltransacties 7 jaar (wettelijk, Art. 52 AWR), provider-notificaties (max 90 dagen), backup-snapshots (binnen 30 dagen uitgefaseerd). Voor gedeeltelijke verwijdering zonder account-verlies: individuele items in de app weghalen (×-knop), instellingen resetten.
3. Re-signup after deletion
You can sign up again with the same email address after deletion, via either login method (email+password or Google Sign-In). This creates a fresh account — we do not restore previously-deleted data.
Paid unlocks do not restore automatically. If you believe a previous purchase should carry over to the new account, email info@ahorn.app with the order/transaction reference and the payment channel (Ko-fi email receipt, Tikkie reference, Google Play order ID, etc.). The operator still has the 7-year bookkeeping entry and can reapply the unlock manually.
Google Play refund (when the native Android app is live): refunding a Play Billing purchase is a separate flow via Google's 48-hour auto-refund window. Deleting your account does not trigger a refund.
Nederlands: Opnieuw aanmelden kan met hetzelfde e-mailadres, via beide loginmethoden. Dat start een nieuw account; oude data wordt niet hersteld. Eerdere betaalde unlocks niet automatisch — mail info@ahorn.app met de order-referentie en het kanaal (Ko-fi / Tikkie / Google Play), de operator heeft de boekingsregel nog (7 jaar bewaarplicht) en kan de unlock handmatig opnieuw toepassen. Google Play-refund verloopt apart via Google's 48-uurs venster; account verwijderen triggert geen refund.
Per-app specifics
Each section below lists exactly what is stored for the named app and how to request deletion of that data.
App Jubilee
jubilee.ahorn.app and the Android app. Jubilee is a personal milestone tracker for anniversaries and important dates.
What Jubilee stores when you are logged in:
- The dates you enter and any labels, categories, tags, or notes you assign to them.
- Your in-app settings (language, notifications, theme, milestone visibility).
- Your email address, used to log you in (required for either email+password or Google Sign-In — see the Privacy Policy, section 2).
- If you paid for the unlock: the bookkeeping entry (channel, external transaction reference, amount, date) and an "account unlocked" flag.
Anonymous mode: if you used Jubilee without logging in, there is nothing to delete on our servers — all your data lives in your browser's local storage on that single device. To wipe it: clear the site's data in your browser settings, or use Jubilee's Settings → Reset.
Partial data deletion — inside the app, without losing your account:
- Delete individual dates with the
×button next to each date in the list. Takes effect immediately, both locally and on the server. - Clear individual tags or reset settings via the Settings panel.
- No separate request needed — you control every entry yourself.
Full account + data deletion (logged-in users):
- Recommended: open Jubilee, go to Settings → Export to download a JSON backup of all your dates and settings first.

What gets deleted on full request: all your dates, tags, notes, settings, your shared-login account, and your session credentials. What is kept: any payment bookkeeping entry for the unlock (7 years, Dutch legal retention under Art. 52 AWR).
Google Play refunds (when the native Android app is live): refund requests for a Play Billing purchase are a separate flow handled by Google Play (see Google's 48-hour auto-refund window). Deleting your account does not automatically trigger a refund. For Ko-fi or Tikkie refunds, email info@ahorn.app.

App My Media

App Ahorn Auth
auth.ahorn.app and admin.ahorn.app. Ahorn Auth is the central account service used by ALL ahorn.app apps. Deleting your shared-login account removes your login across every app at once; each app then has no user behind the email and its data becomes inaccessible until separately deleted by email request.
Email info@ahorn.app with subject Delete shared login account to request deletion. Include a note on whether you also want the per-app data wiped (we recommend yes — otherwise leftover data remains until manually cleaned).

App Stok'd
stokd.ahorn.app. Dating compatibility entertainment app.There is nothing persistent to delete in Stok'd today — the app is a peer-to-peer relay that holds session state only in server memory while two phones are connected, and discards it once the session ends. Stop using the app and there is nothing left on our servers.
If a future paid feature is enabled and you opt in, the only items we would store (your email address, the bookkeeping entry for any one-time purchase, and an aggregate match counter) can be removed by emailing info@ahorn.app with subject
Delete account — Stok'd. Payment bookkeeping entries are retained for 7 years per Dutch legal retention rules (Art. 52 AWR).Nederlands: Vandaag valt er niets persistents te verwijderen — Stok'd is een peer-to-peer relay die sessiestaat alleen in het servergeheugen houdt zolang twee telefoons verbonden zijn en daarna weggooit.
